Mr. Hoelzle worked for the #59 Busch
Team for two years. DJ learned the trade
from the ground up from Dave Vaseleniuck and
Ray Stonkis. He then started CIR Race Cars and
Trico Motorsports.

Dave developed and built the first small block Chevrolet engine for Winston Cup with Donnie Allison of Digard Racing taking the pole and a 4th place finish. The rest is history - NASCAR changed to small blocks.
